Comparison is the act of comparing two or more people or things; to examine (two or more objects, ideas, people, etc.) in order to note similarities and differences. Though not quite rising to the romantic level of Shakespeare’s “How shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?”, it is nonetheless a remarkably important undertaking when it comes to evaluating Foodservice Equipment when you’re in the market. Which is why, ChefWorthy’s “Brand Comparison” feature is so valuable to the buyers and information seekers who visit ChefWorthy seeking trustworthy and authentic user experiences.

For purposes of this exercise, we’re going to see how the different brands of Combi Ovens compare to one another. To begin with, select a brand of Combi Oven from the “Browse Reviews By Category & Brand” Menu. In this case, we’ll select a ConvoTherm Brand Combi Oven:

When you select “ConvoTherm”, the Overall Performance Summary page will appear. (Note: we’ll explore how to use this page in a later posting.). You’ll see the “Compare Brands” button located in the upper left corner of the screen. Click on that to continue on to the “Brand Comparison” Page.

On the Brand Comparison Page you’ll be able to see at a glance, how the Overall Ratings for a brands and how brands performed in the following specific categories:

  • Reliability
  • Operation
  • Cleaning
  • Maintenance
  • Versatility

Pretty neat, huh? No more collecting brochures and spec sheets. No more creating your own spreadsheet to keep track of feedback. (Yes. Some of us used to do that.) It’’s all right there. Go to ChefWorthy to check out other categories and brands yourself.
